Per this announcement, it seems Auran has decided on a retail release of WBE and will be available in March 2009.

Can anyone from Auran verify this Retail Release of WBE and what US Retailers have committed to stock?

It's available for purchase as either boxed or download to the US.

CasyJ, I'm guessing you don't understand what they mean by RETAIL. Auran's sales are truly 'retail' since you have to mail order them...

The 'new' version is to be released in various shops that you can walk into, as well as model railway exhibitions when there is a TOTR stall there (such as the one that I'm doing this weekend...).

Unfortunately, not being in the US, I don't know what stores will be stocking it. I only know that EB games will have it, and be selling it for $69.95 AU!

Nothing about Auran Trainz shows up at the Penna. King of Prussia store, so we assume that all other EB/Gamestop stores both domestic and international are not on the Auran shipping list at this time.

The only version I have seen in the shops here is Trainz Classics 1&2, and thge odd copy of Fury.
