Reskining built-in content

Hello all,

Does anybody know how can i reskin a builtin object?

I have TgaTool2 and i transformed the *.texture file into a *.tga file and edited it. So everything is fine but, how do i change back the .tga file into a .texture file? I have seen in different places that it is possible to reskin builtin objects without paintshed which is very limited, everybody said that you need to convert the .texture in .tga and then back but nobody explained how to do it.

So i know the first step of converting in .tga, i am interested in the second step, transforming into .texture, or if any other sollution applies feel free to write it here.

Thank you

You do not need to convert the .tga file back to texture, just edit the .tga and then commit the asset (I assume you have cloned the asset and then edited the clone).

A .tga graphic file needs a texture.txt file to be useable in Trainz. If you used PEV's Texture2TGA converter it creates the texture.txt file automatically. If you didn't then you'll have to create the texture.txt files manually using Notepad.
