Reskin Kit From Jointed Rail Questions

I downloaded the F7A-B reskin kit from Jointed Rail after seeing some beautiful reskins other folks have done. How does this work? I tried to search for info and all I came up with was how to reskin one of the existing locos, or so it seemed. I don't know how to open the file. Apparently it's not a CMP type of thing. Also, I use Irfanview. Can this be used for reskins? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the reskin kit contains blank texture files in .psd format suitable for use in photoshop or paint shop pro.

Ok. Thanks for the help. Your locos rock. I can't spend the cash on anything I can't eat right now. Hard times across the land means no work for the railroad man...
