Require sign that lays flat!

Colin,

Have a look at the following kuid numbers:- 2:104001:90080:2 to

2:104001:90094:2 by Christiane_Schubien. They have editable text that

appears both horizontal & verticle. Worth a look. Hope this is of help.

Les.

PS also in different colours.

Well guys, I have to say that I am incredibly impressed! I have been with Trainz for about 4 years now and while my Forum experiences have all been good, this particular situation is exceptional. I basically started with no real ideas on how to solve my dilemma, and end up with more choices than I know what to with!

Many thanks to everybody for sharing your expertise and knowledge. This is what makes Trainz work (with a little help from Auran of course)!

Regards. Colin.
:)

Thanks Les, that's worked for me and I'm sure that's what Driver_Col is looking for.

Hi Krupa - Excellent! I can even use the previously mentioned Push Pins to mark the location of these signs. Many thx. Whatever you do for a living .... take a day off on my behalf!

:) Colin.

Once you've named these on the map they can be sought in 'Find Object' in the drop-down menu, which means that push pins aren't needed.

Well I will partially agree with you! Part of my problem is finding a location which (agreed) kind be resolved with Find Object. The other issues are the Where am I? Relative to? where Find Object is no use. The push pin idea was so that I could simply elevate my view and look for pushpins!

However, Push Pins are not necessary because those signs can be elevated! In fact I have replaced all my Push Pins with those labels which are elevated to 20'. Works a treat!

Colin and Dave,

Glad to be of some help, as the saying goes "many hands make light work".

Happy trainzing.

Colin and Les

Colin - With regard to the kuids 2:210528:8336 and 147360:2801

For 2:210528:8336 read 2:210518:8336, which is on the DLS. Sorry about the typo.

147360:2801 is Pristresek3 - (Czech Republic), which is a sort of canopy spline.

I'll have to search for that myself, but I will get it to you.

Les - Thanks again and in case I don't see you again. Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year, and that goes for everyone else that knows me.
