Removing transdem textures.

I'm in the process of getting the Uintah Railway ready for upload to DLS and removing unknown assets .testing it out on a pc that hasn't got transdem installed and they come up as unknowns. But for the life of me , I cannot get rid of the transdem textures no matter what I do, I've bulk replaced them, close up, they are covered over, , but on zooming out above them just above the height to delete boards they are still visible. I've tried deleting missing assets, no dice. I've painted over them where I can find them, but its an 80 mile route so traces of them could be anywhere.
Anyone got any bright ideas as to how to remove them completely as i know if they come up missing many people will just delete the route or will attempt to find them ( or worse still pester me about them ) . i could add a note in the route info but how many people actually read those ?
this is the only thing stopping me from uploading the route so i need a fix pronto.

This works with HOG, should work with TD but I have never got a TD route that far...

I create a 'sacrificial' ground texture which I use to bulk-asset replace all HOG textures then Save As. Delete the 'sacrificial' texture in CM, load the route, delete missing assets (the sacrificial texture should be the only one) and Save As. Very occasionally the process has to be repeated to eliminate a particularly stubborn HoG texture, but it has always got the job done...

Thank you for the info on Sacrificial Texture item,;)
That was/has been a Bug me item, I hated to see those funny looking colors, picking through the high altitude view, I could never figure out how get rid of those strange, sometimes iridescent colors.....:(

Delete missing assets is still going to work, it is just that each version which has been installed must be deleted in turn eg kuid2:???:???:4 may need 5 runs of delete missing assets to clear them all.
After inadvertently deleting several signals which did not appear faulty on my Illawarra route, I tend to use it judiciously.

looks like you were right , took six attempts but now no missing dependencies. Thanks.
