removing overhead content

Guys,

I have been downloading some content from the DLS including a couple of routes.....however all the routes are Modern (Diesel/Electric) and have the overhead pantographs etc and I being a Steam nut would like to backdate the routes and I was wondering whether it's possible to remove the overhead wiring and the supports easily rather than deleting them one at a time.

Thanks

P

Use the replace asset function and replace with a grass or flower, anything very small.
There are some things the tool cannot replace, you might be lucky.
Or clone the route and remove the asset kuids from the route config file.

Another alternative is to delete the catenaries out of CMP, then use Surveyor's tool to delete missing assets to remove them from the route altogether.

Check to see if the route builder placed any of those items in a different layer. Then it would be a simple matter of either turning off a layer or completely deleting it along with any objects on that layer.

A good reason to use layers.
