reinstalled 2006 ,applyed the latest service pack (befor launching the program). now everything in "survayor" lurches (splines,movement,mouse pointer) its real slow." Driver" is perfect everything runs smoothly.
Is there anything I can do?

Try adding option for memory caching in the trainzoptions.txt file.

I think (not at home at present) its like "-resourcememory = 256"

The manual will give you the correct format! This change makes a big difference.

Does not help, infact it gets worse.(survayor slows down more) This only started after installing the latest service pack!

Have you got sufficient RAM, Processor Speed, etc? If you post your PC specs, we might be able to help you more efficiently.

Are you sure you installed the correct patch? SP1 has been out for a year, so technically there is no latest. Check your build number, should be 3092, if you have the US version.

Try setting your trainz options to -resourcememory= 700 or some similar number, usually 3/4 of ram.
