Reinstall Error

Yesterday I uninstalled Trainz to reinstall it. When I run the installer I get a error about a failing to copy a cloud texture. Is there a way to fix this? I've run the installer 5 times and keep encountering the issue.

Could be a multitude of possibilities..

  • Are you running the installer from the online launcher in your My Trianz account?
  • Antivirus?
  • Maybe run program like CCleaner to clean up the registry.

A screen shot or a more detailed description of where it's failing would help.

I am installing through the installer on my account. I've exempted the downloader from my antivirus. I am installing again, so If I get the failure I will share the screenshot.

Not the cloud texture anymore. Now I get this: Patch failed:unable towrite new file C:\Program Files\N3V Games\Trainz Railroad Simulator2019\resources\builtin\kuid2 66128196579.tzarc’.

Details:
Copyfailed. Result -6

Delete that whole folder. N3V Games since you are doing a fresh install this will be recreated.

Since this folder is in C:\Program Files, you may need permission to do so. Click on OK to confirm.

Uninstall all the folders that mention TRS19 or N3V and go to your MY TRAINZ page at the top of this page and select the TRS19 download. Make sure you have space on your C drive for the data folder. Any N3V folders on the C drive delete first. Install onto a second HD if you have one. Once installed go to your C drive N3V folder and cut and paste the build folder only to the other drive. Launch Trianz and open settings and select the install tab. Change the destination to where you placed the new build folder. Do a DBR and it should all be in place.

Now that you've said this I went back and noticed a old installer folder was still there. I deleted that, I'm installing again now, but I'm thinking that's the issue.
Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.
