Regulating trainz chat

The past few days I have started to relize that some people in the chat may be a little less mature than others and show it quite alot. I was wondering what sort of support we could get on the chat... If anything it would be great to even get a filter. Thanks

Agreed threre been far to much sexul talk, swareing, spamming and rude comets. this is a few things i seen its very destarveing something needs to be done the chat needs majore improvemets.

Chat allows children to swear in public without punishment. Unfortunately cursing in public has become the norm as shown by the "bleeping" on many TV shows. Foul language attracts younger people who usually do not have the experience to make rational buying decisions. Thus all the nasty language on TV sets the stage for the same people to swear on Chat Rooms. Most people went through this stage but on street corners in the old days. Now it is Chat Room's burden to carry the crap until the kiddies mature - some never do.

It would appear the moderation on the chat is at least as effective as the moderation on the forums, so I really don't know what you guys are complaining about!

I assume you mean the i-chat thingy. I've looked a couple of times and thought it was a virtual playground. Switch it off and leave it off, I don't go anywhere near where the kids hang out. :wave:

Young or old, when the policy is self policing, many do not take the time to read the rules or follow them. Rules are for others to follow, here, and in real life. Enjoy.

To be honest I have noticed myself this are should just be used for what its used for it should be used right not wrong Because I do follow rules no matter what I think seeing this stuff is not good but yeah I do use it right and you know what I mean.
