Hello, all!
I ran a search this morning to see if anyone had asked how to reduce the sound volume on just a single asset, and all I could find were questions concerning sound volume in general.
How does one go about reducing the volume of one particular asset? In particular, I have one loco whose growl is particularly loud. For all I know, the engine's volume might be accurate, but I've added a good number of pleasant ambient sounds (such as ocean waves, cicadas, chirping birds). I'd like to be able to hear those from time to time.
I suspect an outside program that specializes in sound files might be the ticket (much like reskinning in Photoshop), but I'm clueless when it comes to sound editing.
Thanks!
