Rebuilt SW1500...Or So I Was Told!!

Hey guys, I know this is not a good picture but all I had was my cell phone. This was taken at the Alabama State Dock Terminal RailRoad (TRR) today. An engineer told me it was a total rebuild of a SW1500. This unit is supposed to be more environmentally friendly. When I first saw it I thought it was a new type of unit because of the higher hood.

Has anyone seen this before? It was new to me.

I don't think so, notice the absence of ditch lights.
