Reading & Northern 2012. Large pictures + videos

Nope, not done yet. Waiting for the Jointed Rail R&N rolling stock to be finished too. Almost done with the entire LGS Rwy. segment. Also redoing some of the rest of the route.

And thanks for the music suggestion. I have tons of songs already lined up that will go into my videos, just not enough time to make them. Some might put you to sleep, others might wake the neighbors:cool:. Working on a time-lapse build video right now, something a little different than usual. ;)
 
thi is my first visit to this thread and what i can say that its a stunning route and its my bad that i remain unaware from this beauty .its one of the best routes wip these days.i have one suggestion that u should change the region of this route with the region created by dermmy for its evwr route with some great and real cars

I'll have to look into doing that. :) (thats something thats new to me...and i've been doing this for 8 years...)
 
simply download the region from dls and install it .then open ur route in surveyor and then go to edit route option then there you can change the region

Tried. Nothing seemed to happen, but then again the only thing i could find had cars from the 50's and i really need current stuff. Will mess around with it once i get all the bridges rebuilt.

has modern American cars. Might be what you are looking for.

Time for some Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway shots (http://www.lgsry.com/), the latest part to be added to the route. Shots taken with the prototypical summer consist.


Passing high over the Lehigh River.


Track is ex-Lehigh Valley mainline. Walking path is ex-Central of New Jersey mainline. They paralleled each other for several miles through the gorge here.


Approaching "Old Penn Haven", where the train reverses back to Jim Thorpe.


Coasting down-grade.


Back in Jim Thorpe. Protection SD40-2 in the distance.
 
The old version was the reason I loved Trainz.

The new version IS the reason to love Trainz. Downloaded the Beta at JointedRail Club Car.

LOVE IT!!

EDIT: I thought this might be another low FPS "screenshot" route that is totally unusable without modding. But I am getting really good numbers: 50-60's in populated areas.:Y:

How do you access Club Car? I subscribed, but how do I access it? Do I have to wait until they send me another email?
 
Just running the route and went through Tamaqua Tunnel.

Was there in the mid-eighties with John Hall, Reading expert and author, and wow! Stopped the train and wandered around!!!

Like being back there again!!!
