re:fist class ticket for trainz

I am trying to buy a first class ticket and it keeps telling me that it won't accept my credit card and I have done this before...I could not find a contact number...

That may depend on how you are entering it. It needs to be all one big number. No dashes, spaces, or commas. I think all they will accept is Visa, masterCard, and PayPal too.

Right up at the top of this web page is a link to the Help Desk. Go there and fill the form out with your problem. They can help you.

I don't even want to know what a " fist class ticket " is! It sounds vaguely uncomfortable to me...

I have come across a similar problem before. I used to be able to use my credit card to purchase from Auran's online shop, but then without notice my bank started blocking these transactions because their system identified them as being of a suspicious nature.

I usually get a phone call from card division within a few minutes of my first attempt, after which they unblock the transaction and I am able to proceed with my purchase.

Regards,
Ian

Now that you mention it, my very first purchase long ago caused my bank to call me also. Once I confirmed I was purchasing something from Australia, they didn't hassle me any more. They did, however, start charging me a "transaction fee" of around 0.5% so watch for that also.

If they don't getcha one way they getcha the other.

That's not true!

When I bought TS2010EE I got a week free ticket and downloads were fine and quick.
Then I tried a week without a ticket, download most of the time not possible or super slow, really really slow.
3 days ago i bought a ticket for three months, and now I can always download with a good downloadspeed.

And not any problem with my CC or Paypal.

I have a "First Class Ticket" myself, and enjoy it's superior downloading connections and speed very much.

Since you are not a native English speaking nationality, I will give you a pass on the sarcasm. The subject line begs reading very carefully, or you shall not appreciate the joke.

Sigh...

I got a fist class ticket once and you should see some of the interesting films and photo's that I could download. :hehe:

Question for the first poster.
Why don't you set up a paypal account? Thats what I use and they have always been very good. There was trouble using paypal in the very early days (IIRC) but now owned by a different company (IIRC).

I would guess that it's your bank that is causing the issue.

I would set up an account with Paypal. Makes life a lot easier and safer on the internet. I just used it to buy there 1 year ticket that's on sale with no problems.

Yeah Bill, and this is for a transaction that no one needs to even touch at the bank because it's all done electronically. This is suposedly because it's considered an overseas purchase and there is an overseas transaction charge. Amex charged me 65-cents for Main Type font mangement software I purchased awhile ago from the company located in Denmark.

Definitely, John. It irks the heck out of me to have to pay for electronic ones and zeroes that nobody but a computer even "sees". The only reason they do it is because they can.
