Rattlesnake Valley: A Rebuild of Two Classics

try using other track and other textures, other than that it's looking great!

I'm going to replace all of the track and I'm going to rework the textures for my liking. I just haven't gotten that far yet. I may look for better track, but I'm happy with the built-in "concrete 1t"

As a tip for the wayside signals: I use either modern (I go with CDN) or older (NS37) signals. I bet that NorfolkSouthern37's signals look great for your route!

I also use MP-track, which satisfies me. There is also concrete track by Guriga, but the rails sometimes don't match with other track.

I am looking forward to more on this route! :D :D

I'm planning on using NS37's signals, BNSF50 corssings, and I may go with the MP track. Still working on that.

Ok, how about a railroad museum with a hotel/motel with it? It could havea little bit of everything! :D

Well, I'm such a cab mode person that the 24" h/motel line has its own water tower and coaling facility. Since the Eastern Oregon and Pacific company (My fictional company that operates my impossible routes) is going to have at least 10 steam locomotives, the railroad museum isn't going to catch on with me much, but I am putting a static locomotive in the garden and possibly some other pieces of transportation.

Update!

Well, I've been working on this a little. I spent a lot of wasted time working on the Hotel's 24" line which I decided to cut out. A railroad-themed hotel built along the mainline of a steam railway does not need a 24" line. Well, here are the updates to Bluesky.

Here is the new gas station. I utilized the concrete slab splines (Which I don't remember downloading) instead of the built-in warehouse foundation. The store, pumps, and sign are maddy25's. The sidewalk in front of the parking spots and the manhole covers near the sign belong to gfisher.

This is the new and hopefully final version of the Crested Butte Pilot Hotel. The first image showcases the pool and storage facility for the hotel. The second pic shows the new cafe that was added to the hotel (More room inside the main building for rooms:p ). I re-arranged the coaches to be more functional. Since rooms without privacy woulod be awkward, I mostly used combines, baggage cars, the horse car, and a fourth type of coach. I put the work train bunk cars in the middle to hide them so that travelers only see the elegant coaches. I added the Crested Butte Pilot building as a possible room, or whatever your mind imagines. More to come.

Here's the new bus station. The green buildings will be used to repair and store buses.

There is no scrap facility on the line, so this is what happens. While the Class 50 might be converted into a generator, the two cars behind the gas station are there forever.

And here are the fields. I debated making this a cow pasture, and then an amusement park, but settled on using JVC splines to grow grain. I have a lot more to do. I figure once I complete the CCUSA segment of Rattlesnake Valley, i'll move onto Highland Valley. I'm looking at having the CCUSA segment done by January at the earliest.

Construction is still ongoing. This GP15 has recently delivered a shipment of heavy equipment needed to move and rebuild the steel facility

No updates. I've been going thorugh a lot lately, so thats why I haven't worked on it. I'm downloading more content to add on to the route, and I'll have more pics later.

I personally can wait for quality, I know how it feels to be going through a lot. Take your time.

Happy New Year by the way!

Wow, eight months. Well, nothing has happened to the route. All I have done is added a 30in line from the hotel to Blue Sky Canyonm, and now I feel pretty stupid for putting it there, but I'm not going to delete this time. I spent several hours building the roller coaster trestles, and then rebuilding the line to be more grade friendly. I hope to slowly work on this over time. My main project is to finish Blue sky by adding the station, general goods depot, mail station, and a few more roadside attractions. After that, Rattlesnake city will be completed and the adjacent suburbs will be destroyed and rebuilt.
