Railway Memorabilia

I love that poster - it is probably a pretty rare item, too, and it looks to be in a pretty good condition. $15 is an absolute steal!

It is quite nice poster. There's a few scratches up on the top and there's a bent corner (bottom left) but really not in too bad condition realistically. It's a nice metal poster, too. I could imagine it is rare - I did a bit of googling and saw a lot of reproductions. I believe it is from the late 1930's as well. Really like it. Sometime soon I'll hang it up above my computer.
Oh and you are definitely right, $15 is an absolute steal. I imagine we got pretty lucky there!

I have a tram conductor's ticket machine and a punch on the carrier strap for weekly tickets. It prints out on a roll tickets for "Glasgow Corporation Tramways". It has a phone type dial on top and a switch beside it for child, Sundays, etc along with a turning handle on the side. Originally i bought it 30 years ago for £5 and had thought of selling it (comes in a small case). Did see one about ten years ago in an antiques shop listed at £90. Bit of history as the Glasgow system which was the biggest outside london was closed in 1962.
