Hello all.

I recently purchased the OBB RailJet pack from TrainzMarket.com, and when I installed it a warning came up.

"Warning: The texture 'shadow/shadow.tga' is a uniform color."

How is this fixed?

I recently purchased the OBB RailJet pack from TrainzMarket.com, and when I installed it a warning came up.

"Warning: The texture 'shadow/shadow.tga' is a uniform color."

How is this fixed?

Open the tga file in a graphics editor.
Enlarge to fill screen
select a minute portion in one or another corner or edge,
fill that will a small bit of some other color, perhaps a shade lighter than what the full color is.

eg. if the shadow.tga is all black, put a small square of dark grey in it.
That works.

Be aware though that the shadow may not work correctly after doing the above as it's meant to be a uniform colour.

Agreed. It's a risk I take, every time.

Warnings don't prevent something from working, so no editing should be required for it to work.

Since this version's warnings have an increased probability of being a future version's errors, though, it would be worth contacting the vendor from which you acquired the payware, and enquire about an updated version of the asset.
