Raildriver and Older Content

Can you please tell me when accommodations will be made to use the Raildriver with TANE?

Also, I have a collection of older purchased content from prior to TANE that I would like to use with TANE, how do I accomplish that?

Thanks!

Mark

Raildriver won't be usable in T:ANE this year, and probably not next year either, as they previously said that there are bigger operating things to fix in T:ANE

Thank you for your prompt reply. Since I used Raildriver exclusively in previous versions I never become accustomed to arcane keyboard command use. What confuses me is that if the keyboard commands from previous versions work, what is the difficulty in accomodating Raildriver and, if you are correct, why are there years needed? I understand priorities and certainly am not privy to the list of "bigger operaerating things to fix" but certainly improving the UI should be one, if not paramount. This is, of course only my opinion.

I hope that others will be able to assist me with using older content. Again, thank you for your assistance.

Making a game fix for accommodating a small percentage (I'm guessing my many people who get tane use Raildriver) usually takes a backseat to making the game, useable, less buggy, generally stable. Its a sales thing, you have to make your game (or train sim) appealing to the biggest markets first.

I also have Raildriver and have had it almost from it's initial release. I used it on MSTS until I got sick of traveling the world on the internet trying to keep MSTS up to date. I finally deleted the whole mess from my system. I have had almost every release of Trainz from the very first issue through TS-12 and they all, I repeat, all worked seamlessly with Raildriver. I realize that Tane uses a new engine but I agree with milsils comment that the keyboard commands have not changed much since the beginning. So, I am of the opinion that N3V and the Raildriver boys need to get their heads together and solve this issue for us small percentage guys who like to run trains with controls. it's much more realistic and you majority guys and gals should give Raildriver a try before degrading it.
