R1-9 changing letters

Dont know if this question was asked before its it possible to change the route Letters in train simulator
examples the defaults is the Letter A when you change to Any other B F D E it convert back A even when I do it in edit or create a route

What exactly do you mean by “Route letters”? Are you on about the two letters that appear in the menu when selecting a route? Which in that case correspond to the “region” your route is set to? Or to a signalling system. Such as UK Theatre Indicator signals?

sorry let me be more clear nycta route have letters and numbers for example 8th ave route letters are A E C 6th ave B D F bmt N R Q W J M Z IRT 1-7 hopefully this explains what im trying to do
