Hi, Returning to trainz after quite a few years absence and I am trying to update my route.
I am impressed with the animated loading of containers of this asset but cannot find rolling stock that are configured to take the product Contener 40ft (xVg)
Could someone point me in the right direction please
Regards John

There No rolling stock that use Contener 40ft (xVg) just use any containers wagons then edit and add it to product list "Contener 40ft (xVg)

Hi,
you're looking for a "container flat" type of rolling stock - there's UK and US versions available - check the DLS for your choice.
It's possible that the rolling stock isn't configured for the 40ft container - place on the route, right click over the flat car and you can edit the allowed loads. IIRC, many are configured for different sizes of load.

Hi, I use portals in my route, and the problem I am encountering is that portals will only emit rolling stock with their original configuration. So I need a "container flat" that has contener 40 ff (xVg) in its configuration.
I,m assuming there must be such an asset for the Container Loader to work.
If there is a way to alter an asset so it will emit from a portal , I would be very interested in the way to go.
Cheers John

Hey John,

I would go and clone which wagons you want to use first of all. Then go into their Config File - through content manager - and change an existing 40ft KUID or add the 40ft Container KUID that you want to use into an appropriate Queue... You don't need to clone the asset but its probably best practice just in case something goes wrong once you start tinkering with the Config file.

Hope this helps! :)

Hi, Thanks for the advice. Got it to work eventually. It would appear some assets don.t let you change the config files easily.
Cheers John
