Questions Obsolete Assets on Routes

What happens if you download upgraded assets for example Maddy25 mill gondolas and still have the old ones on a route built long ago?

Well I think that is what this error message is about:

Now my question is can you edit the asset and remove the obsolete table and have the new and old asset exist at the same time?

With the older style kuid each asset had its own number so obsolete would replace it. Remove the kuid from the obsolete table would allow the old kuid to be used. The new kuid2 is automaticaly replaced by the newer asset as it has the same number with only a version number being different. The highest number is always the one seen and used by trainz. When downloading the latest version will be downloaded even if your route has an earlier version.

Mill Gondola, 52', Railgon <KUID2:124017:5013:3> (replaced by <KUID2:124017:5013:1>)

It appears that my route is using the obsolete gondola. Does this mean that I have to delete and replace each of these on my route? There are at least 50 in use. Or can I modify the obsolete table and use both types. I understand that Maddy25 designed each type slightly different.
