Questions for/about Jointed Rail

Hi, I am new to trainz 2019.

I see that Jointed rail has a website.

Are the routes there "2019" routes? I see TANE mentioned, but not mention of 2019 on most of them.

Are the routes and things available both on Jointed rails website and in the in game store?
If so is there any advantage of purchasing in one place vs another?

Hi there fruhj,

At this stage only one (Coal Country) has been updated and officially released for TRS19. The updated TRS19 Tidewater Point v2 sounds like it's going to be released officially this month on the JR website also. Saying that, most of the other routes work fine in TRS19 with no problems but it's unsupported by JR. As I say, they work fine in TRS19.

I prefer to buy from JR because you have more options like 'merging' there routes with other routes. You can not do that if you buy from the in game store, they are blocked to doing that sort of thing.

I hope that helps and others may have other thoughts.

At this time only Coal Country and the soon to be released Tidewater Point Rail TS19 Version are the only official 2019 routes we will have out. More in the future, but for now those are it
