Hi Genesis72, by the way love the name, as I was a huge Genesis fan, Phil Collins was my fave and he's a fan of British Railways, I've met him a few times and he is great, anyway back to the topic...
I had the same trouble as you when I first encountered the Download station, but Zec Murphy came to my rescue, and this is how he explained it to me...
First off all, on your internet computer, make a folder called Trainz content and save this to your desktop, it'll be easier for you to find, when you need it later.
Then go onto the Download station and log on, once logged on, then go to the search box and find what you were trying to download.
Once found, go to DOWNLOAD PAGE a new box will appear
This new box will have this in yellow writing... DOWNLOAD(ftp) , use your mouse and right click on this and scroll down to SAVE AS or SAVE LINK AS
You will see a save box appear, choose the folder you set up earlier called Trainz content on your desktop, and choose SAVE
This will then save the necessary kuid files into that folder
You might see a list of dependencies, do the same as above for all dependencies
Please note - a number of boxes may appear, if there is more than one dependencie, look for this symbol - DOWNLOAD(ftp) and download from this only
(IMPORTANT - YOU MUST HAVE ALL DEPENDENCIES FOR YOUR CHOSEN CONTENT TO WORK ERROR FREE)
Hope this helps and good luck with your downloads
