Queensland Sugar Cane Railways

Also I seem to have the bundy working a bit better so this will appear soon, gee it look's good with a good head of steam, I will also do an interior for it, as I personally did some work on the real bundy that is located at woodford, nth of brissy, so I got a pretty good idea of what it should be like, more soon....

what is the name of the route because i would like to know and were to you get the NG diesel loco
Sorry for asking for so much

Thanks Eric

Hi Eric,

You're not asking too much at all.
That is not a route as such, just did it for a screenshot,

The cane loco is a reskin of Sssjung's
Heeresfeldbahn HF130, available on the DLS.

I have permission to release it, i haven't finish it yet.
When it's ready I'll let everyone know.

Who was looking for some industry active stuff for the sugercane buisness, maybe I have something for testing, and I know it's been a while but I been busy with a lot of other models.

Sugar Cane Trainz

Hi Alby6,

What things do you have ready for testing?

Cause i know me and a lot of other people have been waiting for some new sugar cane related stuff on trainz.

Thanks
Mitch

First of all it is only 06 stuff as i was able to do it in 06 easier, I have got both of shagsters bundies working fixing textures and bogies also got the cane bin working on better bogies and got it to koad some cane.
:D

Kool great to see some work beimg done on the cane locos. I cant wait to test out out the Bundy Fowler and the cane bins and see how they go.

Mitch

Have you corrected the dimensional problems with the Bundy ? Supposedly it is done from the Jim Fainges drawings (There is a plane there hidden in the gmax source file to take the drawing - get it from http://www.zelmeroz.com/canesig/index.html), but it has been mis-scaled and so the loco is about 15% smaller than it should be ! The valve gear is also incorrect. Those drawings themselves have errors (compare the measured dimension from rear driver to trailing wheel and compare with quoted figure).

I only found this out the hard way as I tried to re-gauge to 3foot and adapt the bodywork to create Bogo-Medellin Milling Co. No 3. I gave up on this in the end and started from scratch. Don't suppose anyone has any photos of this loco other than the two on the Japanese "nifty2" website (I can't quote the address at the moment as their server is down.)

Just so you guys know i did actually do some work on the Bundy that is at the train museum in Woodford QLD so have a fair idea of what it was, and at the moment these would only be beta's so I can get feedback and sort problems.

alby
The web link is correct for CaneSIG (although it seems to be picking up the trailing bracket as part of the address). I am aware that the site is not accessible at the moment which is why I only gave the homepage rather than the exact address of the drawings. I don't know whether there is a server problem, but there are several websites in Australia/Far East that are not available at the moment. This is not the first time I have come across this problem accessing this particular website. Generally after a few days it works normally again - no idea why this happens.

That would be me,

As i only have '04 is there any chance of converting it please?
or send it over & I'll have a go.

Cheers,
Torana. :)
