Putting Stuff Back Into The Game

How does one go about on putting stuff back into the game??? Its been a while since I had to do this and am a lil foggy on do I either:

-A just copy and paste the local folder from where I backed it up and just paste it back here C:\Program Files (x86)\N3V Games\TS12\UserData

or

-B do I have to drag the whole 250GB folder into CMP??? and wait for like 32 hours till its all installed again???

Well I dragged the whole local folder back into CMP and took 5 hours to load all the stuff back in.....Now I go into the CMP thing and I see a lot is still missing....I re-dragged the local folder into CMP yet again and its adding more stuff from the old one........How many times does one have to keep dragging the old local folder into CMP till its got everything????


Can one just copy and paste all the local stuff from the old local folder and just paste it into the new local folder?? or does it have to go thru CMP to make it work and show up in the game???

If you dragged everything back into the new local folder, run an EDR to rebuild the database. That will reload your content back in. Be prepared for a long haul with the repair process. It's best to do this while you're asleep so the PC can do its thing unbothered.

Also another thing....What folders all need to be dragged into the CMP??? Just the local??? or as well as the Original folder???

or could one just copy all the stuff that is in here and paste it into the new folder and then do that repair thing???

I would copy all of the above folders and place them in the UserData folder in your new install.

Once the copy is done (50 gazillion hours later), run the EDR to rebuild your database. You may have to reenter your username and password and or your serial number.

So when one copies them 9 files back into where the old ones are (Go into TS12 Content Manager and do a database repair.) and 2 windows will pop up and just let that go????

Never did that before and I dont wanna mess anything up and have to uninstall the whole sim and do all this over again....Its been since Friday since I did all this and still working on getting it all back together here

The Backups folder is backup copies of assets you deleted in Content Manager.
