From the launch screen menu titled ROUTES, you arrive to screen menu titled Routes created by TS12 and yours if you do so. You have on this screen the possibility to Create Route whit globe button, and Edit Route whit wrench button. Than if you click Mojave Sub you have 4 choises with the possibility to Create Session with pencil button , and Edit Session with wrench button. Question: What is the difference or purpose between those two screens. What is the purpose of Editing the basic Mojave Sub Division while you have four divisions of Mojave. Also I have tried the Create Session with the pencil button and it does not work. Is my question can be answered with the 240 pages Instruction Manual. Thank you for your help. Guy

Most of the time, you will want to work with the session screen, as the Routes screen is to select a route or create a new route.

If the Edit Session button does not work, make sure you've selected a session other than the Quick Drive.

There are in fact two different sessions. The session on the opening screen is where you find sessions saved from a driving session and cannot be altered in anyway. The second session found in the routes screen is where all the information about station names, driver set ups, and all other set ups from the edit session window are stored. The route is mainly just track and scenery. If you alter the route from edit route you may find any session that was attached to it may become un-useable. Always work from edit session if you wish to keep the session attached to that route.
You always open new route from the route screen. As soon as you put a train on the track a session will be created and become attached to that route.
