Purchased "corrupt" Trainz Sim 12 from Amazon.com

How many times is it stated in this forum not to get Trainz anywhere else but Auran/N3V, i don't mean to sound harse but people need to do some homework before they rush into things.

i would be looking for a refund and then download it from Trainz shop

That happened to me recently. I had the option of downloading the software all at once or individual packets. The automatic all at one time did the same to me that you described happened to you, so I recommend if you have this option, do the individual packets because that then solved the problem.

I'm curious to know the outcome because the cryptic AmazonGSDownloader should, at least, ensure a good download. I've noted in the past that there is really no legitimate reason why Amazon requires it ... and, let's not even go into the fact Amazon never discloses prior to purchase that this is a required download nor what it does, nor even why they consider it necessary - but you'd think it could handle this basic task. This is even more troubling.

software swayed this outcome.
As for their "required downloader",one could reasonably expect an error free
outcome,and I tried 3 times to accomplish that.
Nuff of that....I am taking Mike's suggestion and downloading my first venture
in a Train Sim from Auran. I became a flyer since I finally put a bigger motor
in my PC, but also a 52 yr old German who remembers that warm white steam
as a Locomotive passed under the overpass in my home town of Darmstadt when I was 7 or 8 yrs old.

Good luck to you and I highly recommend purchasing directly from N3V, either the digital download version or the boxed version. I prefer the boxed version, but in today's world of impatience, I guess that a large number of people opt for the digital download.

I purchased both TS12 and TS2010 digital download from Amazon US without any issues.
I also purchased Murchison 2 digital download also without issues.
Amazon Customer Service is one of the most responsive and sympathetic CS departments I've ever had to deal with.

so i purchased ts 2010 directly from auran but from the very first day i am receiving msg that"source file is corrupt"
i downloaded my game 3 times with the help of download manager reinstall my window direct x and all other related software but it still says source file is corrupt
now what should i do now?
should i claim refund ?
its been 3 month s since i purchased the game but never make it able to run i also submitted 3 tickets to helpdesk regarding this issue but never receive any reply from them

You need to use a file download manager to help with the downloads particularly if you have a spotty internet connection. With the DL manager, it will be able to pick up where it left off should your connection fail.
N3V suggests using Free Download Manager, which is actually a nice little program to have.
I doubt you'll get a refund from N3V.
