PRR 4578 is a Baldwin-built I1sa class 2-10-0. When the PRR's owns shops could not supply locomotives fast enough, the PRR turned to Baldwin, ALCO, and Lima to build PRR designs. 4578 was built in 1923 as class I1s then rebuilt in 1940 as class I1sa. It was sold for scrap in 1959. The I1 was one of the most common classes on the PRR.
