Prototypical Station

Afternoon (or evening, or morning, or whatever...) all

I've brought back my Bluebell Branch project however I am also creating the mainline with it, and that means cities. Now, the cities I think I can handle, but the terminus stations are what I'm stuck on. I want to try and do something like Chicago Union Station or NYCs Penn Station, however I lack the skill and knowledge to accomplish such a task. And if this just isn't viable, what are some other ideas to make a bigger terminus (with some thru-tracks) that can be fun and easy to operate yet still look kinda complicated?
