Progressive meshes no longer supported by trainz

I'm working on getting a bunch of downloaded content to work with TS12. I've got a lot of stuff figured out, but one thing that I have seen several times is this error message:
Error: Progressive meshes are no longer supported by Trainz. Though these meshes may work in Trainz, it is recommended that you switch to a LOD mesh.

Is there a way to fix this?

Yes.

Use PEV's "PM2IM" utility (freeware) to convert .pm meshes to .im format. You should then amend the config.txt file and change any references to .pm files to the corresponding .im files.

As I am constantly trying to get 09,10,12 assets to show up in TRS2006 ... I am supposing that TRS2006 likes PM, instead of IM ? ? ?

Can PEV's "PM2IM" utility (freeware) change IM to PM ? ? ?

Yes ... I have ordered TS10EE to try to get away from TRS2006

I am still creating my route in TRS2006 ... if I had TRS2004 I would be using that to create route, so that everyone could use them.

1: you can't add assts form trs09+ into TRS06 it don't work that way.

2nd: yes it can

3rd you can't upload any thing form trs60 onto DLS inless you upload uesing a 3rd party webside.

hope this helps

If you are able to download them, this can be done if you make the asset trainz-build 2.6 and you remove any config.txt tags not supported by TRS2006

No.. IMs work fine.. in fact some PMs have dodgy LOD collapses that make the mesh render badly.

No it can't.... and I don't intend to implement conversion TO PMs.
