Problems with saving routes and sesions

:mop:I :cool:am working on a long route of about 200 miles from Duboise. PA to Buffalo, NY. The problem is that when I save, or close and save, Trainx 2012 comes up with an "not responding", which last for about a minute, and then will show as saved or will close, depending on which I am doing. When I try to go back and edit the route or the session, It does not have the most recent changes that I made. I have even tried to save under a different route, but still come up with the same problem. Any suggestions!:'(

I have a new problem with the route I am working on. As I indicated in my first post this is a large route. I am presently working on the DuBois, Pa section and have all of the streets layed out and saved. When I exit and go back into the session, I can go back to the location, and all of the streets and objects show up in Surveyor. As I expand my route to the North and add a new station, I will run a sample train on the tracks to make sure my junctions and signals are working properly. Everything was working fine until this morning, and after placing several new streets and some buildings in surveyor, I tried to run my sample train. However when the session loaded, it did not pick up the last three or four miles of my route nor the objects (roads and texture) that were recently installed in Surveyor. When I return to surveyor, and review my route, all of the objects show up. I checked the various layers and merged them all, but it doesn't make any difference and they still do not show up in the driver mode.

Any suggestions.

I have another strange thing and that is an airplane that came out of nowhere and shows up on my route. The airplane does not appear to be tied to any objects that I installed, but shows up in the Surveyor mode and Driver mode and makes a slow circle with about a 600 meter diameter. Thinking about it, the airplane is the at the same location where my route gets cut off when I am in the driver mode as mentioned above.

There are two types of session. When in surveyor you can place or alter anything you want. You can then do Ctrl + F2 save and drive the route. If you then save the route it creates a separate route and session which you cant alter. Looking at what you have done seems as if you opened the drive session and not the surveyor session. Don't open the sessions window on start screen as these are the saved sessions from a driven route. You have to go through the routes and then sessions to get the latest work you have done.
