Problems starting up

Hello,

I just bought the box with Trainz 12 and installed it on my computer, windows 7.
During the installation windows said that the programme doesn't works but it finally was installed.
When I entered my serial code I finally wanted to play but when I press on start my screen becomes dark end
starts flickering and the game closes down. Can anyone help me please?

The first thing to ask is whether or not you have the min system requirements for the game, and if your display drivers are up to date? Please post your system specs

It might be the Display Settings options, crank it up, choose Options and try both choices Direct X or Open GL, and see if it starts on one or the other.
