Hello,
First I tried to register my game with your link but then he says serial number not found.
Second my game is build 47452, I need to update the game but can you tell me how?
Dieter
Hello Dieter,
I think you have the Railway Simulator powered by Trainz 12 version build 47452 by Just Trains. Is it the boxed or downloaded version? New or 2-hand?
When registering you need to chose the Railway Simulator powered by Trainz 12 version.
Best regards

Hello Kurt,
Yes I have that one, I bought the boxed version new. Thanku and I will try it again.
It worked thanx! But can now anyone solve my problem with saving routes?
Dieter
Hello Dieter,
Ok - first step finished.
Next step - update patches.
You have to go from build 47452 via 48249 to 49222 ( latest build up to now ).
Here is the link -http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php/patch-links-for-ts2009-ts2010-ts12/ts12 ( Shane Turner's site is a great site - add it to your favorites ).
But first make a backup of your complete railway simulator directory ( or whatever the name is, you have given to it ). Backups are very important, in case something goes wrong.
Then download and install the patches. ( so download the 47452 to 48249 patch - install it ),( afterwards download the 48249 to 49922 patch. - install it )
When this part is done - check if you still have problems saving sessions.
Best regards

You will still need to make sure that you are running the game as Administrator as in my post #3 to make sure that you dont have problems saving
Andy
Hello Kurt,
I updated my game patches as you said but I still can't save my routes. He keeps giving the message that he is unable to commit it to the Trainz Assets Database. He also says "this task can be completed in the content manager". Any ad vice left?
Grtz Dieter
Hi Dieter,
Have you tried the advice given by 4ndylloyd?
If the error persists after making sure it's running as administrator, the asset can be manually committed by following this proceedure:
1.Click Content on the Launcher.
2.Click the Open for Edit tab.
3.If the asset is listed, right-click it, select Edit, then select Commit.

Hello Dieter,
Perhaps this thread from 2010 can give you the solution.
Here's the link

That's a very worrying sign. Can you post details of your computer? (and yes, the site that Kurt posted a link to is mine, which also has a Utilities section that may help).
Shane
Hello Kurt,
I will check this link tomorrow and see if this can help me a bit, I hope so!
But also when I trie to open the content manager my computer says that the programme doesn't works. Do you know why?
Dieter
Can I ask what graphics card it's got? If anything, that's likely to be the important link.
