problem with lumber transfer platform

Im having a problem with pencil42's lumbr transfer platform <kuid2:124060:28045:1>. I have it set up so that an NG trains delivers lumber to the platform to be picked up by an SG train. I have not yet tested the ST gauge side but when the NG train delivers the lumber (consisting of either 1 or 2 flatbed loads) it proceeds to unload the lumber then moves off before the unload sequence is complete. It continues down the track till it has left the unload area and passed the next track mark which is its next destination. At this point it tells me its waiting for track clearance and stops.
What it should do is unload the lumber - proceed to the navigation point - run around the train - the return to yard. Ive tried puting in wait commands before and after the unload command but it doesn't do anything to help. It cant give the wait command after the unload because its already moved off.
Anyone any ideas as to how to stop this?

Thanks Antony

Hey Antony,

I just ran a simple test by placing the transfer platform with some connecting track on a blank board. I put a track mark beyond the platform from where the consist started and told the AI to go to the platform, unload, go to track mark. It did that, no problems. Moved to platform, unloaded the first car, moved forward unloaded the second car, moved forward unloaded the last car, proceeded to the track mark.

Do you have the correct type of lumber on your cars? This is pretty picky and needs only the Auran "Lumber". Nothing else will work (I think).

I'll go double check what it can take. Im guessing its something simple Ive missed along the way. Thanks for the help

Thank you for the question, I've been meaning to explore what the transfer platform was capable of for awhile and you gave me the motivation.

One thing I discovered was that once the narrow gauge had delivered the Auran lumber (kuid:-3:10003) I told a standard gauge consist of flatcars loaded with general goods to go to the transfer platform and load. It got to the platform and unloaded the general goods and loaded the lumber, car by car. Kinda cool!

Also the platform is not restricted to just narrow gauge and standard gauge. Due to pencil42's setup on this it can be Sandard gauge to Standard gauge or 30" to 36" or whatever.
