Problem with E-bell

I downloaded a few units that have Electronic bells (ES44AC, SD70M-2, etc) from Sporbusts' website. If I leave the bell on for a while and turn it off, then turn in on again, it's really quiet and I can almost not hear it. Has anyone else had the problem and is there a way to fix it?

Hi train963,

Which version of trainz are you using? I use 04 but I heard that the sounds in 06 aren't so great (unless you have a seperate soundcard).

Does this problem happen to you when you are in the cab or when you are watching the train go by? I don't know how to fix your problem if this happens in the cab but if it happens as it goes by, it's because of a lack of doppler effects in trainz.

Much agreed...Except a separate sound card makes very little difference it makes it a little less noticeable but you can still notice a distinct lack in sound(this goes for horns/whistles to) however it does make it happen less frequently. Or if your sound card is to good the rumbling of the engine just drowns out the whistle/horn and bell itself:hehe:
