Problem with driver, can someone help

I have just purchased a new computer, reinstalled trs2006. However the programme runs fine no more judders detail is brilliant, but when i go into driver everything appears, except the ability to select consists. The screen comes up blue then i have to go to map, make a move in any direction then return to get a view of my layout. When i click to view detail nothing happens. The version of trs2006 is 3335.
Computer Spec.
Phenom 11X6
Operating System Windows 7 64bit
Memory 8gb
Graphics Card ATI Radeon hd5770 not to tech. with the info please
And i would like to thank all folks who have kindly given us all the brilliant downloads over the years and for the hours of pleasure using them.

Are you running in DirectX or OPen GL? ATi cards are said to like DirectX but my ATi 5450 runns Tainz beter in OPenGL with the latest drivers. I would guess that the problem that you are having is something to do with the display

If Andys suggestion about DX/GL does not help then:

• Check you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.
• Consider uninstalling and re-installing TS2006.

I have to ask - why have you reinstalled TS2006? I see you have a registered copy of TS2010 which should run just fine on your new PC.

i do think it the new drivers,, i have a ati and when i d/led the new drivers
trainz would not run

When you put in TRS2006, did you install the service pack before using the program?

If you run TRS2006 before installing the service pack, things get weird.

So, install the program.

Install the SP.

Reboot.

Run TRS2006.
