Due to problems with my previous installation of 2012 I re-installed the game into a fresh directory. Last night I decided to play around with one of my old routes so I fired up the original installation, found the route I wanted and packed it up as a .cdp to transfer to the new installation. There were no errors reported so I installed the .cdp into the new installation. The route was originally created using transdem with a map overlay. Very little was done on the route as I was moving the track into its correct position and had done nothing more - so not a lot done. Now in the original installation I could clearly see the map so I am able to work directly onto it. But something has obviously gone astray in the transfer. First off I should state that I have installed the colour file as recommended by geophil. Now when I am zoomed out I can see the map quite clearly but as I zoom in to a working distance the map disappears and is replaced with the normal grey 5m/10m grid.
Does anyone know what has gone wrong and how I can get the map back when in working distance?
