IT seems to be Windows Firewall, but I am not 100% sure. How can I double-check?

If you are using Windows XP, use the Security Center option in Control Panel, then click the Firewall heading. If you are using Windows Vista or 7, click Action Center in the Control Panel, then click Security, then scroll down to Network Firewall.
Note that there have been some server issues today, so the problem may have fixed itself.

There is here http://forums.auran.com/trainz/archive/index.php/t-870.html Seems they are items from the West Somerset Payware route.
The servers have been acting up over the last day or two, so that's probably why.

Happening again now. However, I did perform Network Diagnostics.
There is a message when connect to www.auran.com that says the server is down. They're doing some server maintenance. The message states that the DLS is also affected by this downtime.
This scheduled maintenance will affect the following web services:
