Problem installing SnC on trainz 2010

I installed Trainz 2010 over 2009 and all worked well. When I came to installing the SnC packege i received a message seying that my versuin of Trainz was old and neede updating. I have Trainz 2010 build 34343. I have removed everything I can find on my PC with reference to ts/trs/trainz 2009 2006 2004 including all I could find in the register but still can't install the Snc package.

I don't know what the build numbers are for TRS2010, but I would suggest installing any patches you haven't installed already. If you have the latest patch, then I do not know.

I agree - I did see a list of the builds somewhere on the TS2009 wiki, but as I always say, install any patches that become available (unless they are beta patches, which I would advise caution)

EDIT: Found it - http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php5/Trainz_build_versions (be aware though, that it may not be fully up to date, but any holes can be filled in with information from the Auran Announcements forum)

Do you mean build 43434? If so then you are patched to the latest build, if it is build 34343 then that's very odd as there never was one (to my knowledge).

It's not a good idea to install TS2010 over TS2009 - the two should be kept seperate.

Hi

If all else fails try installing the SnC as a standalone version. Then you can copy and paste the SnC .ja file from the standalone version into the 2010 Built In folder. Add the serial number on the options page in 2010 then run an extended database repair and you should have it working in 2010.

Thanks folks for the advice, yes I did mean 43434, apologies, fingter trouble. Looks like yet another uninstall reinstall process.
