Possible unlimited video software

While looking for video software, I came across a topic of suggestions and one mentioned a few times was Open Broadcaster Software, a free, open source recorder and live streamer program in Beta. Versions available for Windows 7 & 8 plus a multi-platform for OSX 10.8+ so far. Have not tried it yet, still doing transfers of files but if anyone wants to take a look, it is found here.

it works well, i sometimes stream on twitch with it. of course it's not for those that like the one-button-wonder, gotta get a lil dirty with the software.
