Portals connecting to other Portals?

Can you connect a portal in one Route to another portal in another route, both of which are on your computer?

and is there a difference between Portals and iPortals?

Sorry to keep asking but the Manual does leave a bit (?) to be desired.

Seems to me that both routes would have to be running for your proposal to work. I believe that portal to portal will only work in the route that is actively running on your screen.

I am fairly sure he does what you wish to be able to do.

I've done this ,what i did was join the two routes together and used portals to transport from one route to the other.
