Point of Switch distance for Kato 2-850/2-851 Turnouts

I know this is going to sound oddly specific, but does anyone happen to know off the top of their head roughly the distance between the heel of the switch and the end of the facing side of the track in a Kato HO-Scale 2-850 turnout? I'm trying to figure out how much one needs to offset from the base of the track's rail joints to ensure the sidings on this track plan will align properly with the rest of Kato's stuff.

Nice... I've read your question five times and still don't get it...

Anyway, that #4 turnout comes with two straight sections, one of which is notched. Use those both on the straight track and add a 21 5/8" counter-curve to the diverging track and your ends should be properly aligned. Total distance on the x-axis should be 14 1/2". I hope that helps...

If not, check Kato's website: http://katousa.com/HO/Unitrack/g-single.html

A better option would be to plan your layout with track-planning software like xtrkcad, which is free: http://www.xtrkcad.org/Wikka/HomePage

EDIT: Awesome sig, by the way... pumpkin pi, FTW
