Sorry

Sorry guys I'm just trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing. First picture posts. The first shot in Williamson yard and Pond Creek crossing over Tug River, second is just west of Williamson. I will have to find out the name of the gas co.

This is a really great beginning of a fantastic route! The Pocahontas Division is one of my favorite sections in the NS system, in particular the District where you build and Princeton Deepwater District. I look forward to the further progress of your route and will follow your thread. Good luck Jayco-man! :)

Looks like a great start. You definitely have an eye for detail. Might I suggest using some form of JR track and not using NS 911 three times in the same consist :p Keep up the great work

New shots of route. Sorry Its the only one I had at the time. I will take a look at some other track. Thanks for the help. The first one is looking east out of yard toward Bluefield. Second one is looking west back toward Williamson. Third is kind of in the middle and you can see the pond crossing. This yard is a real bear.

Looks like you have that switch laying deal down pat !

Even though you want to get textures painted ... be careful not to cover up important details on the map

By holding down on the [ or ] key, you can smear textures, so that they don't have a checkerboard repetitive look

I found that Forest1, or Forest 1 gives a pretty good base texture ... but if you actually go out in the woods, the ground is covered with trillions of fallen leaves, and GFisher has a few nice woodzy Fallen Leaves textures

Great start! I love it! Is that T:ANE?

TS12 doesn't do Reflective Water.

@OP. Good looking start. Keep it up. Route building is as often as not the squeaky wing screw on the thumb press that you just can't ever manage to shake off, but it can be real fun and rewarding after awhile. Take your time, add the detail you want, or not, and it'll come out fine ^^. Just keep an eye on the trackwork for where you're at, nothing kills a good route faster then sloppy track work. What you got so far is looking real good, though its easy to screw Lead Tracks up with all those switches if you're not careful which we probably won't see till you release it, if you ever do ^^;.

Thanks guys for the commits, and yes it is in T:ane. The time era I haven't really thought about. I don't see why you couldn't use any time era you want. I like both old and new.

If you wanted to do modern NS ... You'd start by ripping out tracks, tearing out engine facilities, scrapping caboose's, abandoning lines, and laying off thousands of workers ... personally I like all the eras from 1900's, up to @ 1970 ... after that is when dung really began to slide down hill, on a rainy day ... before the 1950's, and many years prior, was really awesome, and steam still ruled, and early dirty diesels began to kick in
