hi there!!

First time here and asking for help, nice eh!

well I´m trying to use mighty BIG BOY in "manual mode"
and I can´t keep my boiler pressure "normal" Always it get to 300 PSI (2069 KPA) and an "horrible sound" starts playing, like the pressure limit is here... I try adding water, touching all the controls in the cabin without luck I can´t turn the boiler pressure down (while running sometimes I get to 290 or so but when I stop it keep rising all the time... and never stops!) Please how is the method to keep the pressure "normal" / lowering it in this great loco?

hope you can help me! many thanks!! :mop:

btw I´m using TRAINZ 2009 with SP1

Hi Fercyful,

This happens with locos made for earlier versions of Trainz. ATM I don't think anyone has managed to make a steam engine that works prototypiclly in TS2009. I do know at least one creator was trying to but got so frustrated with the weird results that he gave up. I agree it is rediculous that the steam pressure rises when the safety valve blows off.

Cheers,

hi there Bill69!
many thanks for your reply, now I understand what happens with some steam engine with TS2009, hope they will fix those problems in SP2... until that no more Big Boy for me in TS2009 so frustrating experience!

regards!

Fer
