Trainz 2010 is not working on my computer, it says I don't have an up-to-date video card and that I don't have DirectX9. I tried those but it still won't work.

Please register your Trainz 2010 as this will provide you with more than cursory support. If you have registered under a different name, please contact the helpdesk and have them assist you with proper registration.
Anyway... Please post your computer information so we can help you.
We need your machine type Is this a laptop or desktop?
What brand video card. Is this built into the computer or is it a standalone card?
We also need other specs as well. Visit Shane Turner's website. (See stickies on the top of the forums) and download his system information program. Copy and paste the log file into the forums to provide us with the other technical information we need about your computer system.

Trainz 2010 is not working on my computer, it says I don't have an up-to-date video card and that I don't have DirectX9. I tried those but it still won't work.
Have you tried changing the properties. Right click on the game icon & select properties, click on Compatibility & tick the box to change program mode to windows98. When ever I have an issue i try this. 90% of the time it works & I'm using windowsXP
