Please be kind to content creators and others

I am not sure how some of these forum complainers were raised, but my parents went through the Great Depression, and I was raised to be thankful for everything we have. It was and still is important to thank a person for something they give you.

My two cents is "thanks to creators who have a heart and the time to create some of the nice things available on the DLS and 3rd party sites". I've seen many 'gimme' people on the forum. Maybe they were raised that the world owes them a living?

Just to add to this I think a small change to the forum CoC should be made regarding this subject.... There are a few trolls who pesistantly gimmie-pig or slag content creators off who should be banned... Without content creators trainz is just a bland powerfull checkerboard to which you can adjust land hights. Please moderators include this into the forum CoC

Thanks

:)

The fabulously varied and enormous amount of content available for free with a caring individual's name on it not only inspires me to give them thanks, but near-worship, for they have performed a miracle! They have taken my tired, old, cynical mind back to the days of my childhood and truly given me the feeling of being a "kid in a candy store" again.

Yo JCitron:

You bridge has been uploaded. Its about half length. However - the original was for TRS2004 but the one on the DLS has to be for TS2009 however I will upload a TRS2004 version to the TPR site. Dunno when it will show up tho as they have been a bit slow of late getting items I send them on the site (and yes - I know they have lives other then TPR).

What? Do you actually mean there is life outside of Trainz? Right up until I was 13 I thought my name was 'Shut Up'.... Back to topic... Will someone make this..... Oh! I must remember to say please.... hehehe. If it wasn't for all the content creators we (I) would have a life outside of Trainz. With people like Ben and all those too numerous to mention, they get their pleasure in creating assets, we get our pleasure in using their creations. We all appreciate those two small but all to important words. Please and Thank You... (not used enough these days). It's thanks to these content creators that makes Trainz what it is... The best railway simulator that is enjoyed world wide. It brings people together from all walks of life'
Oh.. Maybe its true that life begins at 70... but everything else starts to wear out, fall out, or spread out and G-max becomes complicated.:hehe:

Hard to believe but there is a life outside of Trainz. I have a wife (somewhere). Hey - I saw her just last week, lol.

I Gmax 8 to 12 hours a day. I'm retired and obviously have the time. I love puzzles and making someting in Gmax is definately a puzzle. I had done a lot of CAD so figured Gmax couldn't be that bad. WRONG. I couldn't even make a box first time I sat down and tried it but as I've said before if you stick with it, fall in love with the delete and undo buttons, (and can resist the urge to put your foot thru the monitor now and then) it comes together and is well worth the effort. Blender and Sketchup are undoubtedly the same. I looked at Blender but decided one headache inducing graphics nightmare at a time was enough.

I upload so much the nice folks at TPR set me up with my own FTP uploads folder (currently holding about 120 items). We talked about putting all my items there but sort of decided it would be a chore and a half. I could burn them to a series of data DVD's and mail them to one of the TPR gents but one of those gents would have to go thru one at a time (4200 plus items) and sort them as to categories which are a bit different then those on the DLS. Just too much to ask.

Ben
