Pick list limit and rename

Hi all

So after watching some tips and tricks vids, I discovered pick lists. Started to go through my entire asset collection and put them into custom lists. However, 2 issues have been raised. First, renaming. Doesn't seem possible to do which does seem very odd. Can it be done? If not, does anyone know if it will be in a future update?

Secondly, there appears to be an issue with how many lists you can have. Although not a direct error, when you reach a particular number of lists, you cannot access the ones that go past the bottom of the page as there is no scroll option and cursor keys do not work. As you can see in the image below, there is definitely another list below "Mining Objects" (in fact there are a couple), but I cannot access them. Unknown error? Fixable?

Unfortunately you can't rename them - I just tried in both in Surveyor and in Content Manager. You can't sort the content either which would be nice, which I tried in Content Manager.

I have a dozen picklists in view so I don't know why you have an issue with that. Does dragging the mouse down give you more?

Where did you create your pick-lists? I created mine in Content Manager. I wonder if that's the difference.

On the matter of renaming the lists, there is an indirect method.

1. Create a backup copy of the picklist (see http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/How_to_Backup_a_Picklist)
2. Delete the picklist from your copy of Trainz
3. Restore your copy from the backup but give it a different name in the final step (see above link)

I create mine in Surveyor. I am going through all my content on the right hand side and creating a pick list that I think suits the asset and will make it easier for me to find something. I have more than a dozen as this image shows....

Looks like I need to combine a lot of these into one (eg, the vehicles) and use the link above to rename them. Does feel like the pick list feature is a last minute add-on without real thought put in as this should be a huge help to finding relevant assets. Hopefully they can do something about it.

I had a number of picklists with just 3 or 4 items in them. Some of these I have combined to make more efficient use of the space but some I could not because the given names of the assets (e.g. "grass103" and "grass104") were not enough to distinguish between them in a combined list. For example: I have a picklists for "Vegetation (dry creek)" and "Vegetation (wet creek)".
