I have tried to use this software but every time I try to open a file a window open stating" Access Violation at address 000000000" causing the program to freeze and you have to use task manager to close it ,any help would be grateful .George

First thing is check to see if you can run Trainz in OpenGL instead of DirectX. If not, the problem is in OpenGL. If you have an Nvidia card, open the Nvidia Control Panel, Advanced Settings, Manage 3D Settings, set Extension Limit to OFF. Dunno what it is for ATI, but there should be something similar. Extension Limit is for older OpenGL programs, should normally be OFF for any modern programs.

Okay, you tried changing the options in the TS2010 launcher, set the display to run TS2010 in OpenGL instead of DirectX, and what happened? What operating system do you have, XP, Vista, or Win7?

When do you get the error window?

1. Directly when you start the program.
2. When you try to open a mesh using the file open menu.
3. When you have opened a mesh and it's trying to display it.


If it is no 2 of the above try setting up the windows to open the mesh on double click in windows explorer. There is a problem in the complier I use that causes the file open dialog to fail on rare occasions. I have not found a way around this as yet.

I am running windows 7 ultimate 86bit I have 4gb memory and a 500 gb hdd.
the program crashes when I try to open the asset file to attachment maker window.

Can anyone send it to me. I had it but I deleted it and tried to redownload it. When I try, the download is not found. Everythong else on Pev's site works exept the attachment maker.
