The only one I know of is by Paul Mace(barn700). However it is payware.

I think I heard talk of LieLestosBrat dong one. He's working on the Peppercorn A2 at the moment, (well, that's the nearest thing to it he's being doing, but as far as I know it's not a high priority), and I believe some people suggested him using that mesh to create the A1 Peppercorn.

I've had a look at Paul's shop (I've done so many times in the past but stuck to US trains mostly) and while he has many excellent models and even the Tornado itself, it just does not cut it as payware quality. I'm absolutely sorry.
In the meantime, those interested in Tornado can have a look here. It's the only steam locomotive I know of in the contemporary era that's built from scratch (using 19 years and £3 million in the process). Cool.

Not really an awful lot like an A1 (trying putting the connecting rods on the centre driver for a start), but what the hell, I'm sure a lot of people will like it.

I made a Peppercorn A1 on the last two pages, and from that model I'll do a V2 of Tornado.
Talking of Jeremy Clarkson and Tornado, when Tornado was doing the race against James May and Richard Hammond, it stopped off at Grantham. I was stood on the platform with all the other railway enthusiasts when it arrived. What I hadn't known, was that Clarkson was on the other side of the engine, and there was a BBC helicopter flying overhead. When I got to my grandparents' house, they told me that there was a BBC helicopter over the area. I didn't believe it at first, but when Tornado was on Top Gear last year, we saw it in Grantham from the air! I said immediately "Holy cow! We were in the same place as Jeremy Clarkson!" I couldn't get over that fact!

That may be true, but the Peppercorn built by the A1 Trust is on a much larger scale of much greater complexity. It is in all it's rights one of the greatest pieces of British engineering in the 21st century.

For a start, the boiler I believe, isn't British! I believe it is german, because we [in this country] didn't and still don't have any facilities to design or build a bolier of this scale.

I think you'll find the boiler was designed in Britain, as it is made to the original British design used by Peppercorn, but it was built in Germany, due to the governments lack of investment in 'Proper Jobs' in this country.
And if it's "scale" you want, check out the size & power output of the boilers that 'http://www.babcock-wanson.co.uk/' (a BRITISH company) build.

As to paulztrainz, I would rather buy a 4mm scale OO gauge model than one of Barn's efforts. When his work improves to a point on par with LMS_man's or Paul Hobb's models (or a similar level) then I'll think about it.
