Pennsylvania Railroad Penn Station NY Signals

Hello,

i have a question...
since i finished the NEC a few months ago, i'm always working on improving the quality of the route. Now i found this:

those are the Signals used in the NY Pennsy station...
I would like to know if signals like this (or similar ones) are available in Trainz.

NEC Route is unavailable. Felix, if there are any, search "gfisher" (I bet you already have), or "seniorchief" on the dls(I bet you searched him too) lol. That's all I got.
 
If more than 128 letters would be allowed in the signature, i'd write 'working on details' below it....but still: 'where can i get' isnt that friendly and its STILL THE WRONG TOPIC.

I don't think this sounded very gimme piggish. All you had to do was tell him that it wasn't available. I mean, I get people asking me for things everyday and you don't see me automatically assume they just want, want, want and get angry at them and assume they are gimme pigs. Especially if they only ask once, and out of curiosity if anything.
 
Thats your opinion, but i made a lot of 'special' experiences with people who asked for the NEC. One even stalked me a few weeks in the forums, via Trainzchat, skype etc. Others were like 'load up ur NEC to dls'. That may explains why i am....'not very nice' to people wo ask about it and dont say please/use the correct thread. I can post names + copies of the texts i got if you dont believe me, no problem!!

Well when you announce to the forums that a very popular and well-known route is complete and you're the builder of it, what do you expect?
 
I believe you, I've had my own share of stalkers for my content. I guess I'm just the type of person who wants to try and think the better of them before I start getting mad.
 
To get back on topic, I never made any signals like the ones shown nor have I seen any like those. They would be easy enough to make I would think, but since the signal aspects vary from those built in to the game you would have to use scripting to get what you want, something I know nothing about. Perhaps someone who knows about scripting could help out.

@kj3400...i was that kind of person too...but after 5 months in Trainz that changed !! lol

@gfisher: I know that there are no such signals, i searched a lot before asking :) I dont know that much about creating signals, but i sadly know nothing about scripting. Thats something that was always 'too much' for me, i never had time to learn it. It would be very nice if someone with those 'abilities' (or how that word is written) could help out, but if not, no problem :) For now i use the default CNR signals, but while i visited NYP 3 months ago, i noticed that this is not really prototypical...

Some ifo's about 'my' Penn Station (max ceiling height is very important to know, that the signal fits in there...:

i recall playing a route that flyboy711 on the Auran forms created, it had penn station built into it and he used a similar signal that you are looking for, if you can track down the route on the form, you may be in luck (..or try messaging him yourself felix)...the route was a start to the NEC that had Penn Station and the full Empire Connection in it from NYP to Croton Harmon
 
Hey Felix,

That signal is on my radar for scripted stuff but a long way off. But they're not going to be on the DLS, at best. PM me if you'd like more detail.

Check some of the Moscow Metro signals. They look similar, but I don't know if they work the way we think they ought to though.

@John, the Moscow Metro signals are a.) Looking different, b.) On the ground, not near the ceiling and Catenary height, c.) have different signal aspects :) I can not use them, even the CNR signals are more prototypical than the MM ones....

First, thank you to those who defended my request as to where his route was available. I assumed, my fault, that it was finished. I have seen many screen shots and have admired his work. No, I do not scan this entire forum looking for all the titles that are available so that I may get my request in the right post. I've been with this game a long time and have never been labeled a gimme pig. Flusi737, I don't know how old you are but you have to lighten up. Life is to short to be carrying a chip on your shoulder. By asking where I could obtain your route I was paying you a compliment but you saw otherwise. I hope that we can put this aside and I will be looking forward to getting your route if and when it gets finished. Keep up the good work.
 
Yah...well i had a bad day, have currently many problems in school (marks), and it was some kind of overreaction. I apologize for that, really. I get annoyed too fast, it was my fault. I'm also sorry for calling you a gimme pig, i saw too many of them in the last few weeks, now i think everyone who asks could be one >.< And btw...i am 17, and in real life i am not as silly as in trainz, i always fear that someone could steal my content etc....next kind of overreaction -.- I always think everyone wants to do bad things against me and wants to insult me here. This is may true, maybe not...i do not know. I am not a very happy person. I hope you understand this, and again, i'm really sorry about what happened :(
