Patching Aborted

Patching for SP1 2010 keeps aborting with this message: Failed to patch Base.ja,file. File contents do not match. Failed to apply patch 41491-41615
Patching aborted. What's up with this? Tried several times with same message. Can someone help?

you need windows service pack 3 if you are using XP thats what it kept saying to me.

Got the problem solved. Re,Re installed 2010 and patches went ok. Time to play the game.
